Terms of Service
LAST UPDATED · JULY 31, 2026
1. Who you're agreeing with
DockMDM is operated by Ahmet Safa Orhan ("DockMDM", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent ("you", "your organization"). If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. The service
DockMDM is a cloud service for managing dedicated, organization-owned Android devices: enrollment, app deployment, configuration including Zebra MX, kiosk mode, telemetry, location, remote actions, and programmatic access via a REST API and an MCP server. The service is under active development; features may be added or changed, and we will not remove core functionality you depend on without notice.
3. Your account
Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account and through credentials you issue, including credentials given to AI tools via the MCP server. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe an account has been compromised.
4. Your responsibilities
- Authorized devices only. Only enroll devices your organization owns or is explicitly authorized to manage. Using DockMDM to control a device without authority is prohibited.
- People carry these devices. Features like telemetry, app inventory, and location tracking observe devices used by people. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for monitoring, and for informing device users, under the employment and privacy laws that apply to you.
- Destructive actions are yours to aim. Wipe, lock, password changes, and kiosk mode do exactly what they say, on the devices you target. We execute the instructions your administrators and their tools send; verifying the target is your responsibility.
- Third-party licenses. Content you deploy through DockMDM, including apps and Zebra firmware images, must be properly licensed to you.
- No abuse. Don't interfere with the service, probe or overload it, or use it to break the law. Don't resell the service without our written agreement.
5. Plans and billing
- Free tier: up to 3 enrolled devices, every feature, no time limit.
- Paid: $5 per device per month, or $50 per device per year, purchased as prepaid device seats. The number of seats you buy sets your device limit.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; their terms apply to the payment transaction.
- You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and your account keeps its entitlements until then.
- If a subscription lapses (non-payment or expiry), the account becomes read-only: you can see your fleet, but enrollment and device actions are blocked until you resubscribe. Your data is not deleted for lapsing.
- If prices change, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies to them.
6. Availability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it up and we monitor it, but we are an early-stage service and do not yet offer an uptime SLA. The on-device agent is built to tolerate outages: devices keep working and re-sync when connectivity returns.
7. Your data
Your organization owns its data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. A data processing agreement is available on request. You can export your data via the API, and on termination we delete account data within 90 days.
8. Customer references
We may identify your organization as a DockMDM customer in our marketing — for example by showing your organization's name and logo, with a link to your website, on our website and in sales materials. We will follow any brand guidelines you share with us, and we will not state or imply anything beyond the fact that you use DockMDM. You can opt out, or withdraw a previously given reference, at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will remove the reference from our website within 14 days and from newly produced materials going forward.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or create security risk, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature survive termination (including data handling, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data; and our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify account holders by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
