Datalogic's rugged terminals run Android, and DockMDM manages Android the standard way: device-owner provisioning via QR code, silent app deployment, kiosk mode, and live telemetry, with AI operations built in. Try it free on your own hardware before you spend anything.
// THE STRAIGHT ANSWER ON DATALOGIC
The DockMDM agent uses Android's standard device-owner APIs. Any Datalogic terminal that supports managed provisioning can enroll and use the full core feature set below.
What we have not done yet: certified specific Datalogic models, or built Datalogic-specific integrations. Both are on the roadmap. That's exactly why the free 3-device tier exists: enroll a spare terminal, verify everything works on your hardware, then decide.
Factory-reset, scan, done. Managed provisioning installs the agent as device owner in about two minutes.
Push APKs to your terminals with per-device progress. No user taps, no Play Store required.
Lock a device to one app. Survives reboots. Release it remotely.
Battery health, Wi-Fi signal, storage, OS version, app inventory, and device location on a live fleet map.
Locate on the map, lock, wipe, reboot, ring, manage the screen password, send on-screen messages.
A built-in MCP server lets Claude, Codex, or any AI agent query devices and run jobs in plain language.
Enroll a spare terminal on the free tier and see everything work before you pay.
